A dark alley

A dark beach that is abandoned

A basement in the night

A tiny cabin in the middle of nowhere

An abandoned house

My sound/visual effects would be:

Drops of water

Squeaks coming from rats or mice

Fog

Footsteps that you would hear approaching

Cracking noises

Freaky looking shadows

Scary "KEEP OUT" signs
